They’re Okay

Which question you chose, and how you think this exemplifies or responds to the project prompt as a metaphor, synecdoche or metonymy, or if it addresses all.
My project responds and resembles a little bit of all but my main focus was metonymy, using symbols like a heart and cogwheels relating how the heart is your powerhouse and takes care of your body, it helps your arms to your legs move and functions your organs.
2. Discuss three of your visual choices with respect to how you think they relate to the given convention. In other words why did you make those choices? and why do you think ( or hope ) that they visually communicate what they do.
I hope visually, people would understand how important your heart is and personally I believe your heart is connected with your soul and I wanted to visually show that in this piece. I wanted to communicate my personal experience I had recently with my family and my mom by showing how her soul was debating whether or not to stay here with her family or thinking her family is okay and would be okay without her, and that her time was done here but her soul decided to go back to her heart and stay with her family. This whole situation turned our family and our beliefs around and gave us a lot more appreciation for life and religion. I honestly believe god brought her back to us knowing we wouldn’t be the same without her and told her to come back because she was still needed. We have had a lot of mediums and people connected with god tell us and ask us about my mom and if she was okay even though she never told anyone outside our family what happened to her after she woke up.

3. What was the most difficult thing about creating your project? please elaborate. was there anything you wish you had done differently?
I wish I was more comfortable knowing which tools did what and remembered what they were and did, but I also know the more I mess with it the more I will get used to it. What I wish I had done differently was able to add more to the background, I still had one more idea I wanted to add on there that I think would complete and make the project a little more meaningful and make more sense but I didn’t have enough time to mess with it on photoshop.
And coming up with the idea of how to approach the topic and represent it onto a screen, picture, or paper.
